School to Career Day

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 29

November 26, 2007 SAA held its first “School to Career” day in front of 250 high school students. Eugenio Ferrari, a flight instructor at SAA was the speaker and his presentation was captivating for students and teachers alike.

We are invited again in February to do a special aviation workshop with 20- 30 students as well as future presentations at technology and science profiled high schools in San Diego.
Below is what Melissa A. Woods, Employer Outreach Specialist at Crawford Educational Complex, had to say about SAA.
Thank you for the dynamic presentation. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from students, teachers and administrative staff that everyone enjoyed and found the presentation inspiring.
Your presentation benefited our students in several ways it gave students an opportunity to hear about the Aviation field, students were able to start to identify careers that interest them and it helped students determine their next steps.
Thank you! Today, you inspired, engaged and encouraged our students.
We look forward to you join us for Engineering Week in February and/or coming to tour your facility.
Best regards,
Melissa A. Woods, Employer Outreach Specialist
