Scandinavian Aviation Academy Inc. is a flight academy operating out of Gillespie Field in Southern California. We take pride in being one of the few flight schools that has survived the recent recession and been able to grow and expand our operation. Since 2006 we have grown 300% and currently have 150 students in training from various countries around the world. We believe this gives us great diversity and our students an excellent preparation for an aviation career where they are able to work with people from different cultures is vital.

San Diego County is a pilot's paradise, complete with idyllic year-round temperatures and seventy miles of pristine coastline. The airspaces are recognized as one of the nation's busiest and is truly a city with something for everyone.  Approximately two and a half hours south of Los Angeles, the city of San Diego is nestled between Mexico to the south, wine country to the north, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west.
