ATP - Airline Career Program
Overview The ACP consists of twelve courses, spans over a 36 month period, and includes over 1500 flight hours. During the initial courses you will receive training by experienced and professional instructors both in classrooms and in a number of different aircraft.
The training primarily takes place in the busy airspaces of Southern California, one of the toughest flight environments in the world. This will bring you up to and beyond the standards set down by the FAA for the different pilot licenses that you will acquire. After gaining your certified flight instructor license the program changes character and you will take the step from being a student to, in a guided and mentored environment as a paid flight instructor.
Flight instruction is something that is highly regarded by airlines. The experience gained from mentoring and guiding other students through their flight training is invaluable. As further flight instructor certificates are gained, the complexity of the aircraft being flown will increase, to prepare you for the final course of the program; the Air Transport Pilot course.
To be able to obtain this license at such an early stage in your aviation career will make you stand out from other pilots in the industry and put you in a very desirable position for any future endeavors in aviation that you choose to take on!
